Images from the 2004 Winter Meeting


November 19th was GIS Day for 2003. The Maine GIS User's Group sponsored displays, posters, technology demonstrations and a luncheon at the Hall of Flags in the Capitol building from 11:00 to 3:00. Display and demos were put on by state agencies, private sector vendors and schools. The event was very well attended. MEGIS of course had a number of displays and demonstrations including on-line demos of the Aerial Photography Viewer and Municipal Resources internet mapping sites. MEGIS also made available a large number of publications, demonstration softwares and promotional materials for major vendors of GIS softwares ESRI, MapInfo, Intergraph and AutoCad.
