The Maine GIS User Group will be hosting a lunch for paid members on GIS Day, November 19. The event, which is in the middle of Geography Week, will be held in the Capitol's Hall of Flags from 11 to 3 with lunch at noon.
Members are encouraged to bring maps mounted on foam core to display. Several schools and towns have been invited to set up a table with an exhibit or live demonstration of how they are using GIS. We hope to attract some legislators and possibly the Governor.
This is a great opportunity for you to network with your GIS colleagues, and to gain exposure of your projects to important decision makers in our State. And the best part -- it's free to paid members of the Maine GIS User Group!
We only ask that you RSVP using our on-line registration form.
