MEGUG Winter 2003 Meeting

Use of GIS in Local GOvernment

Thursday, January 16, 2003
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Druckenmiller Hall, Bowdoin College
Brunswick, Maine

It's an exciting time for GIS in Maine, particularly in local government. The Maine Legislature recently created the Maine Library of Geographic Information and we, the citizens of Maine, just authorized bonds to provide $2.3 million that will help municipalities implement and use GIS. The timing of our Winter Meeting and focus on the use of GIS within local government couldn't be better. We are looking forward to an informative day-long GIS session with "Users helping Users".
