The Maine Geospatial Institute would like your input on a Professional Masters degree in GIS (MGIS), currently in development through the UMaine system: Survey link

The MGIS program is designed to fill in a gap in the educational pathways available to professionals in GIS, geospatial, and allied fields (emergency response, forestry, planning, surveyors, etc.). Well-established undergraduate and graduate programs already exist, but there is a need for a Maine-based curriculum that accommodates those already working in the geospatial field and looking for ways to advance their education and career prospects. MGI is looking for input on the content and format of this program that would best serve Maine GIS/geospatial professionals who might be interested in the MGIS degree program.
