The Maine GIS Users Group (MEGUG) is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Lunch & Learn series! We're kicking things off with "Aspects of Data Quality" on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (virtual).

This session,
open to MEGUG members and the general public, will delve into the critical importance of data quality in today's data-driven world. We'll explore intrinsic and extrinsic dimensions of data quality, and the challenges of assessing it. Led by
Matt Dube, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Data Science at the University of Maine at Augusta and Chair of the Maine GIS Users Group, you'll gain valuable insights regardless of your GIS background.
Registration is free but required. Secure your spot by registering through Zoom via this registration link.
Looking Ahead: Our planned future topics include historical GIS and using QGIS in municipal applications.
