MEGUG is the state’s professional network organization for GIS users, and for the first time in two years, we are excited to put on a conference to get people back together again. Given a widely attended Lunch and Learn in January, we have decided to organize this conference about the usage of drones in geospatial activities. The festivities will involve presentations, tours of the aviation facilities at UMaine Augusta’s Brunswick Center (which houses their aviation and UAS programs) and will be followed by “mappy hour” at Flight Deck Brewing Company, a chance to network with geospatial professionals in a more social setting.
Agenda (see full program and map for details):
Speakers:
Getting off the Ground with Drone Photogrammetry
Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and Wells Water District
Smith College
Sponsors:
Refreshments during the presentations and Mappy Hour are generously sponsored by:
Blue Marble Geographics
Sewall
COVID-19 Notification: Due to increased community transmission in Cumberland County, mask wearing will be required within the Community Room during the presentations and tours. The Mappy Hour will take place in a tent with open sides and outdoor spaces, and masks are optional. Please be aware that Flight Deck Brewing may also have guidelines for masks inside their building (when ordering drinks).
