Presenter: Rosemary Mosher, GIS Analyst, Viewshed; Vice-Chair, Maine GIS User Group; lover of all things history and map-related.

Description: We’re all familiar with the many ways to use GIS in our professional lives. But it doesn’t have to end there. With a bit of creativity, the same programs and skill sets we use every day can be applied to less common settings. This is intended to be a fun presentation that will take us through a number of projects Rosemary has worked on through the years - while working in academia, with researchers at the Osher Map Library, or as a volunteer for local historical societies.  Hopefully, it will inspire you to explore using GIS within your own interests!
